Hi,

I am new to this forum. Just shows how out of touch I am with the 500e community.

I posted my car for sale on benzworld several months ago. In response to my very brief feeler several enthusiasts on this site suggested I might be arrogant and/or really didn’t want to sell the car. In retrospect I kind of see where they are coming from. Anyway, I would like to sell it to someone who will enjoy it more than me. I work too much and have two little kids that take up my time. And I’m not arrogant (you’ll have to trust me on that one).

The car was modified by Brabus in Germany. It was imported in 2001. I purchased it in August of 2002. I have all of the original import documentation. It has always been carefully maintained and never abused. 62k on odometer.

Brabus modifications include engine (of course), brakes, traction control, suspension, 1st gear start, steering wheel and shifter. I had a Remus exhaust installed-I couldn’t find a Brabus and the original Brabus one was confiscated during importation.

Performance: A blast to drive. Big difference from stock. Brakes are awesome.

Exterior: Looks great but definitely showing its age. Biggest problem is rear bumper had been repaired before I bought it. Bondo started falling off about a year ago. Minor cracks in front bumper and side skirts. A few paint chips here and there. No rust. And yeah, the wheels are somewhere between hideous and funky. They do grow on you.

Interior: Excellent. No rips or significant leather wear. No cracks in the wood. Aftermarket stereo with Jennert door speakers. Everything works with exception of rear sun shade-It goes up fine but needs help coming down.

I have all receipts from since I owned it and some from before. If anyone is serious I am happy to hook you up with my mechanic or have it checked out at a shop of your choice here in Phoenix.

Also, happy to provide more detailed pictures of anything you would like to see.
